First Time Boarding Policy
First Time Boarding With Us?
Our First Time Boarding policy applies to bookings that will last for 14 days or over. It is designed to ensure their comfort and well-being during their stay and minimise the risk of stress and anxiety which can cause an array of other issues while caring for them. This policy applies to dogs and cats only. To help them adjust to our facility prior to a long stay, we offer the following options:
1. Daycare Stay: Consider a half-day or full-day visit for your dogs to become familiar with our facility, staff, and environment.
2. Short Stay: We recommend a three-day introductory stay for pets new to boarding. This gradual approach helps ease them into the experience under our attentive care.
In the meantime, feel free to proceed with your booking by selecting the Book Now option on your quote, and let us know which introduction option you’d like for your dogs prior to the longer stay.
Exceptions: Experienced Borders: Pets that have boarded at other facilities before, and have demonstrated a comfortable transition in the past, may be exempt from the introduction stay requirement.
Flexibility: While we strongly recommend an introduction stay, we understand that circumstances may arise, making it difficult for some clients to arrange this in advance. For last-minute bookings, we will work closely with the pet owners to ensure their pet’s comfort. In such cases, a waiver will be signed to indicate the owner is aware that they have skipped the recommended Introduction Stay.
